I don't hate on the guy, but he obvisouly does not have the skills necessary to be driving that car that fast. He has a dismal record for the SSCC. He should swallow some pride and use a professional driver for the event.

He is lucky to be alive though. A sure testament to modern race safety equipment requirements.

Yeah, I would always just let the car slow itself if I got a flat...regardless of speed and keep that steering wheel as straight as humanly possible.

Anyone have an actual idea of how many rpm's would 3rd gear at approx 160mph in a mt Z be?
