Just get overlays from Blue Batmobile.com You can get them in chrome to match the headlights or Silverstone to match your car. I ordered Chrome Silver to match my car, but the guy sent me chrome. I haven't sent them back yet, so if you want I will sell them to you and just order myself new ones.

I actually did buy those. But I had such a hard time putting them on. In the end it ended up looking like I had glued on aluminium foil on my headlight because they were so hard to put on. After about 30 minutes, they were so messed up looking that I just crumpled them up and threw them away. I also bought the silverstone color pod overlays, those were on for maybe 4 months, with the weather and tempature changes they would either shrink or expand making them unstick... eventually I just ripped those off too.

That's the way to go - with the overlays. There are some threads on 350zmotoring.com about your options.

To make it easy to put on you just spray the headlight with soap water so you can move the overlay around until it is perfect. Then take a hair dryer to it while gently wiping over it with a washcloth to get any bubbles out. Once it is dry you are good to go. I just did a ton of overlays on my car.

I did soap my overlays. They were still hard to line up and then I dropped one on the ground; history. They actually look kind of cheap.

If you want to buy my overlays let me know ASAP because if you aren't, I am going to send them back for exchange on a different color. Yes, I will install them for you, without dropping it on the ground.

There is some place that sells stronger hatch shock things, but I don't know where. Do a forum search on My350Z.com. What spoiler do you have? This should be a seperate thread by the way...

Yeah I did a quick search on this and found out about the same thing, but not all Zs have it I guess. Also some people were saying that Nissan has stronger struts that they can put on which they use with the NISMO spoiler, so I would call the dealership.

^^ Woah, I didnt know about that... My hatch stays open, and now I dont have to slam it closed, I just let it drop from a good distance and it closes... as before I had to close it then put weight on it.
