Your price range is all over the place ($20k's - $50k+'s), so here's something a bit closer to the affordable side of the spectrum. What about one of the new Altima SE-R's. A friend of mine has one and loves it. Same engine as what you already have in your Z (de-tuned of course). Still has 265 HP. Good mileage and reliability. Still a Nissan. If you cang et over the ugly rear-end, then it's a good car.

Im not really a luxury car guy. As for my price range bieng all over the place...I have the money, but I would rather not spend it. Another thing is, although it may sound vain, I need a "cool" car. I am materialistic when it comes to cars. If I had all of the money in the world I would get out of a Lamborghini Mercialago with a Hanes undershirt and pajama pants. I know its sad, but I can't help it. I want people to look at my car (not me) while I am driving down Main St. in Huntington.

It's going to take one helluva nice car to stand out in Huntington Beach.
Have you seen the new M6? Same V10 as the M5, about 500 hp. But in a coupe. Coming out in 2006 sometime.

the Volvo s60r is a sexy car, and fast as hell. It's turboed, and quicker than alot of cars out there.

Once again, I don't need an expensive luxury car, just something that looks and sounds cool. I have seen old Novas and Hot Rods get way more attention than Ferraris and Porsches. As my concience kicks in more and more I am leaning towards the Mustang GT. Throw some wheels and exhaust on it and its like a whole different car. Plus I need to spend my money on other things like upgrading my house, or buying a new house, and I have to keep in mind that I work off of commissions so I have to think ahead for taxes and I don't know when my next check is coming in. I think I am going to go test drive one within the next couple of days and that will either make or break my decision.

Aha! Another S60 R admirer! The Pegasus wheels on it are already nice, but throw on something nicer, you'll most likely stand out in Huntington Beach. Shows that you're classy, yet has the heart of an enthusiast driver. Besides, how many 22 year old drives a Volvo S60 R?

I'm thinking about trading in my Z for something more "snow practical", since it snows much more in Germany than it does here. The S60 R comes to mind. I don't know why I've an infactuation with that car, but it's just so... "refined".

I like the S60R, but I'm not a fan of Volvo's reliability or how difficult they are to repair. My mom love's Volvo, she's had 3 or so and has had problems with every one of them.

Hate to bring up an old thread but I have come to a new conclusion as of today. I was locked on a Mustang, but now I have actually changed my mind to something completely different, a 2005 Jeep Wrangler (not the longer one though). Here are my reasons.

- Cheaper
- Dirt cheap aftermarket parts
- I can still bounce around sites for work
- Has just as much back seat as the new Mustang
- I can go off-roading
- Same gas mileage as the Mustang
- Build like a tank

What do you guys think?

Oh thank god you're not thinking about the GT anymore. Anything less than a Cobra or a GT500 cannot be respected, IMO. That's just me though. The Wrangler is a great idea. Throw on those fatty AT tires, the 14" or 15" modular wheels, off road suspensions, full under carriage plating, and a winch and you'll be good to go!

Get an ugly-a$$ 4 door hemi charger. That doesn't even sound right. Dodge should kick themselves in that a$$ for building that car with 4 doors.
