My Radiator Removal Saga

THE RADIATOR IN THE Z IS A PAIN IN THE A** TO GET OUT. A friend and I started on it around 8:00pm. The front bumper came off no problem. Trying to find all of the bots that needed to be removed to take the radiator support off was rediculous. There are so many bolts and parts laying around my garage it's redidculous. We still didn't get the support off, we just got it loose enough to slide the radiator out of the bottom of the car. We pulled the radiator out around 11:45 PM and proceeded to change the crank pulley which took all of 10 minutes with the radiator out. Tonight we are going to attempt to put the new radiator in as well as change the power steering oil cooler and put the whole car back together. Should be fun seeing as we have no clue of how we even got the old one out.

Hmm... I'd imagine it will be about 2x as difficult with the turbo in. I'll probably get mine put on at the same time. Was it because of the cramped space, or are the bolts just hidden?

Yeah, last night my friend accidentally set off the alarm to his car right outside my house at about 10:00pm for a good 60 seconds, but he didn't come out. He just put his house up for sale so luckilly I won't have to deal with him much longer lol. Lets just hope whoever moves in there is cool.

The bolts are hidden and there are a TON of them. Those f***ing things are everywhere. I still cannot find the rest of the ones needed to actually remove the thing. Hopefully the installation goes alot smoother.

Ok well everything is all put together now and I don't ever want to do that againg. The fitment of the Koyo on the Z is nothing short of questionable. I still have to fill it with fluids and tighten the belts from changing the crank pulley, but then I will fire her up and make sure everything works before Buttonwillow!

Holy crap that's a long time. Download the tech manual from one of us if you don't already have it.

Its not that I needed a tech manual. Its just that the Koyo doesn't fit very well. It is a really tight squeeze.
