Ahhh, I see. Well, here's my stance on that. While I appreciate all cars, I think that the club should not be so broad. If we are going to let in any Nissan/Datsun/Infiniti sports car then we have lost some of the uniqueness of the club I think. I for one would be less interested in the club if it were open to any make model and year of Nissan Infinity and/or Datsun. Don't ask me why, because I don't really know. If we do that why don't we just open it up to anybody who enjoys cars? Our meets have always been and will always be open to anyone, but the club is a different story I think. I for one want to keep it Z/G specific.

Well if we go down that road, what's wrong with Sin City Z? And if we follow your logic the G doesn't belong as it's really part of Skyline family, not the Z family. Just shares the chassis. If we're going by chassis then we gotta let the new Maximas in too

This is getting way too complicated lol. I think it should be Gs and Zs, thats it. The Gs are close enough and the G/Z community is very much the same group of people. Maximas...not so much.

 

+1 not a nissan club... is Z33s(+older model Zs) and Gs.. but all models always invited

Ok, as much as I hate to say this, I think the clubs should stay seperate. We can still act as one club, but keeping them seperate makes it a lot easier on the name/logo aspect lol. We can still plan meets and such together, but merging the clubs has proven itself to be a little more difficult then I had originally though.

 

Yup, I'm too hard nosed to compromise. :P

It's fun to dream though.

 

So what does the rest of the group think about just keeping our end a 350Z/G35 club, but working closely with SinCityZ?

OK. Keep the clubs separate but have one website and split the costs between the clubs. We could call the board "Las Vegas Nissan/Infiniti Community"... www.lvnic.com. We could have www.sincityz.org, www.nv350z.com and www.nvg35.com all pointing to the same website.
