How much labor?

Performance Nissan says that to get my Tein Flex installed with EDFC and a 3.54 final drive it would take 17 hours of labor at $77 per hour.

Is it just me or does that seem like a lot of hours?

I have no idea how long it would take to install the 3.54 final drive, but it shouldnt take more than 2-3 hours to do the Tein's. $77/hour seems like a lot.

$77/hour is alot. I am going to do my Tien Flexs this week, It should only take 2 hours tops. I have no idea about the final drive though. Did you order that already?

Not yet. I'm going to be in LA next weekend and I was looking into letting them do it while I'm down there. But that many hours seems pretty excessive. The final drive doesn't seem like it should take more than 3-4 hours tops. I don't think that you have to drop the rear end.

If you don't have to drop the rear end, we should be able to do it. I'm up for it if you want to try.

I'm not working this Saturday. How are you going to do this? Do you need a hydraulic lift? I can get you on base to use the auto center, but it has to be early in the morning (0730) in order to get the space.

Probably not going to do it for a couple of weeks. Don't even have the parts yet. They'll probably be here Monday. Thanks though.

A lift would be awesome. My friends and I used to use the base garage lifts on Ft. Detrick when I lived in Maryland. Makes things 100% easier!

Isn't it awesome? And it's cheap too! Four bucks an hour... you can't beat that.
