Good luck... I'm in the same boat. Hoping to get the wife to release the funds for my build in April or so.

I hope you're going at this the right way and not just do it like you did with your suspensions.

What's your plan of attack? Let us know so we can guide you in the right direction.

Nforce, you can't just tease us with saying "I am going FI, wish me luck". THe amount of luck I wish you is going to be dependant upon the kit you choose and how you set it up....please elaborate!

Agreed. Also, you don't need luck nor need to be scared if you have a sound plan of attack. Doing your homework and not just throwing yourself into it will yield wonderful results.

Im going to go with the Stillen Supercharger. Im buying the stage 3 with the emanage ultimate (not sure If I need or going to use the emanage, but Ill have it), but plan on only have it on stage 2 for now. Until I can get myself comfortable enough with going up the the stage 3. I gave scott from VRT a call yesterday and I plan on having them do the install for me. As soon as I recieve the kit, Ill have to make some time to get down there and get it done as well as getting the new hood painted.

Good enough?? lol

You will enjoy it, however, stick with the Stage 2. Its safer and I didn't really notice a huge difference between the Stage 2 and Stage3 when I upgraded on my G. And the Stage 3 pulley is way overpriced compared to the Stage 2.

Supposedly, its like a 10-15hp difference. Not really a big enough difference to make me want to take any chances

Spend the extra dough on an intercooler sprayer or something.

My buddy here in town sells and installs a kick-a*s progresive methanol injection system. He knows what he's doing... he's got two lifts and a mandrel bender in his freakin' garage.

I was going to have him install it on my '04 S/C Frontier with the 15psi Pulley Boys pulley on it, but I traded the darned thing in.

I belive that's SC size 1.3L. If so you can't do much about it,specially root type.

The Stillen? I don't know how many liters it is but its an Eaton M62 blower and it doesn't really flow much more than 7psi no matter what you do to it. 350whp MAX with methanol injection.

So if that max out 350rwhp with all bolt-on parts and SC. I can point out what you have to do. It'll add another 15-20rwhp on top of that and SC will increase the efficiency of your blower, adds boost in many cases, boost won't drop at hi-rpm and Lowers inlet air temps. It should cost you around $500 more.

Sounds like what I already suggested... or a small shot of nitrous. I don't know if I'd run nitrous on a stock bottom end with the blower. Even a small shot might push the motor over the edge.

I would never do that to a stock block....ever.

You suggested Methanol Injection which I stated earlier still only yeilds a MAX 350whp. Its even lower without the methanol.
