Finally installed my Test Pipes

So after a few times under the car and a few trips to Sears for some more tools, I finally got my test pipes on. It only took me about 2 hours once I figured out how to get to all the bolts, which really was not as hard as it originally looked once I got the right tools. My Z is DEFINATELY faster. My butt dyno says I gained at least 20whp. The sound is a little loud, but I am sure I will get used to it. I used to be able to get through 3rd gear without slipping the tires too bad, now I am slipping the tires in 4th a little and I have no gripping 3rd gear. Now I need 2 things, wider tires and a fender roll. I am pretty sure I can squeek 315's on my 9.5's, anyone know of a place to get my rear fenders rolled? I am not going to tackle this one myself.

sweet... might as well get DRs cause I doubt the extra width will take care of all that traction for you.

What offset is your wheel? 315s will fit on a 18"x 9.5" without rolling the fenders if they are a +30 offset.

I am not 100%b sure, but I think I remember them being +23. I don't see how that would work because right now the edge of my tirews sit right under the edge of the wheel well.

Do you have VDC Mike?

Yeah +23 would not work. I do have VDC, but it is always off.

10+psi is what my Zietronix is "quoting". I think because I have not changed the elevation settings from when I was in Utah, its a little high. Yes, I am on stock internals and the APS stock tune.

Mine creeps over 11 around 4k, then tapers down to 8psi from 5k to redline.
