I'm bored and decided I'm gonna head to Fast Lap tonight at or about 1700'ish. If anyone wants to go...



Fast Lap is located at 4288 S. Polaris. An easy 5-10 minute cab ride from the Strip. To get here, take I-15 or the Strip to Tropicana. Take Tropicana West to Polaris (Polaris is just 2 lights past the I-15). Turn right on Polaris and go about a mile (almost to the dead end). 4288 is a big warehouse on the right side. Look for the green fence in the parking lot that says "Indoor Racing". If you hit the dead end you've just missed it.

So is this just indoor kart racing? Can't go today but interested in what this place actually is- and what are the prices?

I just called them and the prices are $25.00 per heat or a 3 race package for $60.00. One heat is 10 minutes in duration (approximately 15-20 laps).

It is an indoor track and the carts are 200cc. They move pretty quick from what I hear.

I'm still going today, but how about we consider it for next week's meet?

 

It all comes down to if I'm working as far as meets go. I work 24hr shifts so if I'm off, I'm off, if I work than I can't make it at all. Other thann that it sounds really really cool and I would def. like to check it out. A meet sounds great!
