That or their low end torque sucks.

I will either be a little late, or I will be running on my 19" wheels. I planned on prepping my 350Z for tonight and the weekend last night, but due to that b-day party that I didn't know about until yesterday morning, I didn't get a chance to. Hopefully I can get away from the office early enough to get it all done and be at Poppas at 6:00pm. So basically what I am saying is, if I am not at Poppas at 6:00 then don't send a search party. I will at the very least, meet you at the track.

good time - i ran a 13.5 at 106 - still having trouble getting traction but i think my new quaife differential (and maybe some drag radials) should help a lot. i was all juiced up and had trouble getting to sleep afterwards.

Thank you Rob for letting me take your monster down the track a couple times. My best was a 14.453 at 99.99mph. That pissed me off since my goal was to break the 100mph mark. Anyways, cars seemed to be running slower than usual. The temp on the track was 100-105 and off the track was 95. I had fun still though. Took out a Mustang Mach one and some SRT-4s. Ty won the $40 for the reaction time challenge with a .121 or something like that. I was close with a .131. So I missed my goal by .01 seconds and $40 by .01 seconds. F**k that. I did have a lot of fun though. I got 19 runs in 1.5 hours.

Lol, that was the highlight of my night I guess. I ran like crap. 14.86 was the best I ended up with. Maybe it was the temperature, I wonder how tough it is to do a compression check on a VQ.
Anyways, gonna be working on my brakes tonight so if anyone is bored...

The track was too hot. The best I could muster out of the Miata was 16.07. Adjusted for temp, barometer, altitude, and humidity, that's a 15.53 at sea level. Car and Driver rated it at 15.2. The turbo is pretty much non existant after 85-90F because of the teeny IC. I'm gonna take it out in the late fall when we've got temps in the 60s and see what she'll do.
