I was heading home on the autobahn yesterday. Right when I looked up at the digital speedo (reading 160 mph), I immediately noticed my "service engine soon" light, oil light, and ABS light lit up. There was no throttle response and I was like hmmm, weird. I figured I hit the limiter and the car shut itself off (which I thought was really unsafe).

She started right back up at about 100, though.

 

That is really strange, never happened to me before. Maybe they did something to your car during shipping

 

The limiter is at 155. I got rid of my limiter before I reached that speed so I don't know if it was that or not.

 

Lol, yeah, must be something they did during shipping. Bastids. I don't know if it is. I have to run it again to see if that's the problem.

Usually, it takes me about 40-45 minutes from my home to the closest US base. Going on the "fast" lane takes me only 15-20 minutes. God, I love this car.

 

limiter should be at 153... those are some odd symptoms though.

 

I'll test it again, and hopefully it was just a fluke.
