Beat by a NSX (No surprise)

I had a red NSX trailing me near Kingman, AZ. As we entered RTE 93 from 60 we both gunned it and went side by side off the ramp. I was able to hold next to him until about 85-90mph, then he pulled away (I didn't even expect to be with him that long) with a wave and a sarchastic little chuckle. Anyone know this punk?

Off topic...I need some assistance with my B&M shifter. I am having trouble getting it into 5th and 6th gear. I lined up the plate with the reverse pin (as instructed) and all gears are free-flowing with the car idle. Anyone ever have this problem? Also, it rattles like a SOB. I am ready to take the damn thing out. Maybe a topic for the next tech session?

Let me see what I can find. Alot of people with the B&M short shifters were having problems. I think some were saying it was the design of the plate and others were saying it was just problems with the shifter itself. I'll look into it.

I just put the B&M shifter in too and had similar problems. I took out the rubber o ring and it fixed it. It doesn't rattle either. Also, did you grind down the piece of the tunnel like the directions told you to? Another comment: I have a 350EVO shifter in my garage if you are interested.

Yeah, I filed out about 1/8" in the UL corner. Which rubber o-ring? I may be interested in your EVO shifter if I can't sort this out.
