Valley of Fire. I was thinking that we'd meet at the fireworks place in Moapa at about 6:30p - 7:00p. That should give us enough time to get set up and the light from the sunset should be getting ready to fall nicely. After that fireworks go boom.

I'll definitely be out there, so in that sense it's a go. Not nearly as many people signed up as I thought would though.

 

I'll be at the gas station off of I-15 near the speedway at 5:45p if anyone wants to meet up. That should put us at the Valley of Fire around 6:30p.

I think that it's only about 45 minutes if I remember correctly. That should be plenty of time to set up some pics before sunset which should be at about 7:26p.

 

I ran over another rock. There is just too much construction in my area. Anyway I think that one of the skid plates is vibrating against the exhaust. I hear a strange rattle and humm at low rpm under a load.

 

I had that also. Turned out that my exhaust was sagging and touching a cross member. I had to get a hanger hacked off and rewelded lower on the pipe.

 

I meant to go, but lost track of time helping a buddy with his bikes. Both had gas leaks. By the time I looked at the clock, it was 6:45. Maybe next time.
