UZC May Meeting Minutes
Our last meeting before Zdayz at Tail of the Dragon was a great one!
31 people attended
$106 was collected for the 50/50 drawing, so $53 went to the lucky winner and $53 went to the club.
Stuart Smith from Discount Tire on Haywood Road in Greenville spoke about their services and was kind enough to offer club members a 10% discount at his store. Members just need to present their membership cards at the time of the purchase.
Stuart also brought donations from Discount Tire for our drawing.
In addition to the $53 50/50 prize, we gave away $50 off a set of tires, $50 off a set of wheels, a free rotation and balance and two bottles of Orange Blast cleaner. The club also donated a UZC hat and a T-shirt for the drawing.
ZDayz at Tail of the Dragon is May 19-21 at Fontana Village Resort in Fontana, NC. 18 members from our club are planning on attending this event. The event organizers are expecting over 200 Z’s this year.
Our club will have 4 convoys leaving the Upstate for ZDayz. There will be a separate post for each departure date and time on our forum. Please leave a note on the appropriate post if you are interested in joining one of the convoys.
They are:
Departing 10:30 am from the Hardee’s in Westminster, SC on Thursday, May 18.
Departing 10:00 am from Fatz Café on Woodruff Road in Greenville, SC on Friday, May 19.
Departing 5:00 pm from Fatz Café on Woodruff Road in Greenville, SC on Friday, May 19.
Departing in the morning from the Greer area on Saturday, May 20. Please post or contact Jim or Michael Somers directly if you are interested in joining them.
Leaving ZDayz, the club will have convoys back to the Upstate on Sunday as well.
