My buddy just bought an EVO somthing hehehe Its a 2007 IX or something like that anywho, Ive been told its the best AWD evo of that year. well we went for a cruise last night and Filmed... HAH! Ill admit the AWD looks good for about 1st gear but then I get some traction and its a wrap. well any who were going back out today sometime to film somemore because our tunnel run didnt save for some reason so ill try to post it on the web so you guys can take a look.

Has anyone found a company that makes wide wheels for us older model guys. Im looking for atleast 10 inches wide in the rear maybe 16 or 17 high? No wheel adapter though thats my thing?

check out the thread entitled something like rota rb 17x9.5 in the group buy section of hybridz.com. i think it's com. maybe .net. they still have some left last i heard. to get to 10 inches wide, you're probably looking for custom wheels.

for the rbr rims you will need flares with the offset they offer. i love them on my z. depends how much you wanna pay for rims because you can get some custom ones made for a price.

he didnt get the staggered setup also smaller tires. finding 10 inch rims is tough.dont see why you would want a 10 inch rim up front. even though you have p/s still going to cause a hastle. i had to trim alot just to get the 9 inch rim with 255 tire to no rub. anyway here is his thread https://www.zdriver.com/forums/showt...highlight=rota

thx guys

Ya i got a 280zx body and I dont want a 10inch up front, I want it in the rear I want an 8 up front. I need somthing wide in the rear cause even at low boost if I hit the gas I get nothing with this RB25det under the hood. Oh and Im not rolling my fenders Im doing flares Custom Carbon weave. I am thinking im gonna have to cut my fenders out about 2 inches so they will have to be custom but We got a shop over here that does carbonfiber products and a guy told me her would do it just for fun. But Im gonna get the wheels before we start cutting. I dont know if any of you are fans of Gramlight wheels but I have talked with the nissan specialist at gramlight and the told me they would make me a set of wheels 17x10 (2 each) and 17x8.5 (2 each) with any bolt pattern and any offset total price $2600 shipped. Not a bad price for a custom order and a Direct fit though still kinda steep.

Thanks your your imput guy.
Bryan
