I never thought my wheel choice would bring up a debate like this. Any who my front ones are streched, Ya I know... Check it! Its a 16x8.5 up front and I got a 205 40 16 on it... I didnt expect to strech that much I didnt want it to be that way.

So my Opinion on all of this is, If you Have wide wheels and your looking for better traction like I was, Why would you get a smaller tire than the rim? I didnt do it purposly, Like I said next time I buy tires I will by a bigger front tire well wider anywho.

Oh and for those who want to know how it performs as it sits, Ive spent 3 Sundays at hockenheim ring and one Drift event and It handels like a dream. Smoked up my breaks on the ring but it handels great I dont notice a over or understeer problem.

I looked around and could not find anything wider than 8 inch for 16's of that style. Where did you find 16x8.5?

I called rota US sales rep thats the numbers he gave me, Could be 8 but my old wheels were 8's and the rotas are wider. there nice wheels though, Im going to hockenheim again tomorrow Ill get some pics of the action!!
