T-top Holders

Anyone know the best way to re-attach the round plastic holders for the T-top inserts? I tried the rear view mirror method & it did not hold. I might have not waited long enough for it to set, but I figure I would ask.... Thanks, LCF

T-Top

OK, the t-tops have inserts which block the sun. These inserts are held in by two round, plastic, disc looking things that are glued to the inside of the t-top. One of mine came off. I am wondering the best method of re-attachment. Thanks, LCF

I used JB weld, i believe it's called. That was about 2-3 yrs ago and I've never had a problem since. I imagine any sort of super glue for glass and plastics would be fine though, as long as u let it set.

I used plain old super glue. It's been cold here lately and they are still holding to the glass.

Initionally I used rear view mirror adhesive - which lasted as long as a snowball in hell. Used some two part epoxy I had sitting around and they have been attached ever since.

Yea, that 2-part epoxy will hold anything together. That's what I would've used.

T-Top holders

You can order them from any nissan shop for like 5-7 dollars I have replaced mine and have two spares

JB Weld Rocks!!
I used that to seal up the plastic top to the radiator of my old Stanza! Good stuff!
I used it to stop a leak on an old Oldsmobile too. Antifreeze was leaking straight through the intake manifold! Damn POS GM sand cast parts!
