Ok guys I work with this guy that told me his grandmother has a 1985/1986 300zx N/A. I looked at it today and it seems to be in ok shape. The car has not ran in 4-6 years (at least thats what my friend tells me). the exterior is nice as is the interior, but some interior will need to be replaced. It will need new tires, digital dash. I am going Saturday to try and turn the car over but as the car stands what do you guys think it is worth. ?...

no you can get a running na for about the same price maybe 500 would be worth it but not 1200 IMO.

 

yeah I would say $500. If you say it's really nice maybe like 6 or 7, but I almost bought a running driving one for I think it was like $1100. It was very sunburnt and had crappy carpets, but that one you're looking at hasn't even ran in 5 years. I bet it's not garaged either? Sitting is one of the worst things that can happen to a car. Also tires have gotten very expensive in recent years. Don't spend too much...

 

$1200 if you can get it to run and drive it. But still haven't seen actual pictures to see the real condition. Everyone has a different set of standards as far as what a condition means.

 

Yea I know its not worth 1200 runnung or not, it was garage kept for i believe 2yrs but last few it has just sat under one of those car canopy things. I am going again today to drain any old gas from the car and see it will turn over/ start. with some fresh gas and a little tinkering around with it first. But would 600 be a good price if it runs and does not sound to have any problems, can't drive it tires are no good to drive on. And is there anything problem area's I should look for, not to familiar on 300zx I have a 280zx so most of what I know goes to it.
