the turbo doesnt hold any pressure..... mhmmm..... (calm down refuse to tear into new guy breathe breathe.... 1....2.....3...... 456788912309234 GARHH!!!!)

lol jk but honestly the turbo CREATES pressure the hot side plumbing HOLDS pressure. so now on the boost guage it shows its not creating any boost? if so then the car would surge and run like ****... but this is a very vague explanation... are you car savvy at all?

surges on the Z31 turbo and NA are often caused by a bad Mass airflow sensor. (MAS)

...or boost leaks. I'd suspect boost leaks

check all of the vacuum lines and piping from the MAF back, as well as all clamps and make sure everything is nice secure and in good shape. second you might want to give your car a tune up, even if they said they had one done. (cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fluids, oil change...etc) if everything i mentioned checks out good, then you can start diagnosing the electrical stuff. (simple things first right?) and welcome to the z31 party.
