I was thinking about advancing the piston firing by rotating the distributor on my 85 300ZX NA, like I have seen done on many 5.0's. Has anyone tried this mod? How did it work out for you?

works fine. just make sure you aren't getting any pinging. don't know how much extra power you're going to get, if any.
