I went and got a switch and inline fuse to run my fuel pump. either I am just loosing it or brain dead tonight
the switch 25amp W/blue light I bought has 3 prong on it NEG ..iluma..power
how the hell do I run or should I say what goes were?
fuse box to what part of the switch to pump do i hook it up to ??
and what runs were ?
what place is the best to put inline fuse at ? before or after the switch?

The switch should have some kind of label or engraving showing which prong is which. What's the switch look like? If it's one of those glowing AutoZone toggle switches, the ground & power should be the outside prongs, & the middle will be the accessory (wire going to the fuel pump). Most of those switches are universal, so you can hook it up how ever ya want. Just hook up some wires to the switch & connect them to the battery till ya see the switch light up.

 

the prong say ___ power
.................. ___ accessory
.................. ___ ground.

so the battery goes to accessory and the rest to what ever
neg power to pump
