How far can i red line my zx l28e engine without causing damage to it ?

is it all stock valvetrain? if so its useless to go above 5500rpm.

Is it usesless above 5500, I thought you could still pull a bit out after that, but I don't know if the 83' Turbo head is different enough to actually make a difference.

Peak HP is around 5250 rpm... For racing, the idea is to shift just above peak hp, so you are closer in the next gear to reach peak hp again.
