load the pics up to a hosting site (such as cardomain or photobucket), right click on the pic & copy the url (web location of the pic), then paste it in the reply window with the img tags at the beginning & end: [img] www.pic addy.com [/img]

Remember to be considerate of others & don't post huge *** pics that take up the whole window.

 

Or goofy little animations that drive everbody crazy...

I would like to see some sigs reduced in size, some of them are pretty large and well the larger they are the longer the page takes to load as well, dependicies on offsite images to load are a bad thing!

 

Well, depending on our server size... we could have pics hosted on here.

I also visit DTMpower.net & they have a pretty tight forum going there... They host pics & vids (multimedia section).

Now that Zdriver's gallery works I think you can upload pics here and then link the thumbnails into your sig.

 

bah! only the Z31 section works...

 

Gallery will be cleaned up over the next day or so, we are still having some issues with it.

 

Unfortunately,

I doubt we'll ever do videos they just eat *SO* much bandwidth that we couldn't sustain the cost of the bandwidth, maybe if I charged a fee for access to the video section would be the only way I could see the video section viable.

Just checkin to see what the latest is on Sigs....

 

We need people to link smaller sigs, I'm going to turn them back on without offsite links.

Here is the technical reason:

Linking offsite sigs "increases" the load time for each page, due to the fact that we can't guarntee the quality of the remote server. So if someone links a HUGE *** sig and it's on dialup it can take an upwards of 30+ seconds on the forum to load that which makes us look like we are perfoming like crap.
