For $7800, someone could get a whole lot more car. Someone would need to be crazy to pay that much. You're going to be lucky to get $5k. If you got an offer for $4k, you should take it.

4000 wouldnt hardly pay off the loan that i took out to do all the work!
plus i can just drive it for about 5 years and it will pay for its self
thanks for the response though, your the only one who has taken the time!

I know it wasn't what you wanted to hear. If it were me, I'd drive it for a few years, then sell it for $4k. At least you'll get something out of it that way.

I have to agree with 91. You would be fortunate to get an offer of $4k. I suspect, any offer would be for less.
Hold on to it for a while and enjoy it as best as possible. Keep her in great condition and she will not depreciate much more.

That's a real nice car- real clean. But for 8 grand, someone can get a whole lot of car, more than a 20 year old car. Not trying to be harsh. If it were me, I would drive it around for a couple of years and don't put too many extra miles on her, and take really good care of her (as you obviously already have) and keep her real clean, then you could sell her for a good price. Just my 2 cents.
