yeah. but only 50 of them. not a real production car IMHO unless its made on a production line. besides, how long does it take to get that high of speeds? ever hear of the texas mile? they do those speeds with just one mile. now thats impressive. and they cost 1/3 of what that car does. prolly even less. lol.

 

well i'm glad to see that. the veyron seems more like a space ship then a car to me. it's just not realistic. i'm glad to see a slightly more realistic car spank it.

 

$600k 1,183-hp rear-wheel-drive car (with no traction control and 1,094 ft-lbs of torque) vehicle would be stable up to 273 mph...........just waiting to see some videos of them crumbling to pieces when hitting something.

 

Seriously, I would never put my life in the hands of a company that no one's ever heard of before, and that's never even made a car before. All they did was make a dragster; I'll bet the heavier, but better engineered Veyron would handle circles around it in a greater variety of conditions.

 

Shelby is a company you've never heard of? never made a car before????

Uh...the SSC Aero is NOT made by the company started by Carroll Shelby. It is made by "Shelby SuperCars", owned by Jerod Shelby (who is not related to Carroll). They've only been around since the 2000's, and yes, this is their first and only car. Carroll Shelby's company is called "Shelby American".
