My stomach is picky..and I can't eat much at a time. I ate out on Friday night. And had heartburn most of Saturday. There are a lot of things. I can't even touch..because of my stomach and such. It can suck at times. But I have to wait and get benefits to get more tests. And I am still a temp where I am at. I can't drink any juice. The only soda I can drink is Dr. Pepper for the most part. I can't drink milk at times. I can't really have anything with acid in it. I can't have too much grease. I can't have too much sweet stuff at a time. Feel a pattern forming? lol

i've known a couple people that had the same thing happening and it turned out that they just had acid reflux. they started taking pills and it was all good.

^ That's what I have. I just have a weird type. I need to go have more tests done. But I don't have benefits yet. Hopefully I will be hired soon..and then I can get some stuff done. Oh and pills only kind of work. I still am on a roller coaster practically everyday with my stomach.

Nice! You have one that you're actually looking at? How much are they asking? Miles?

How can a gutless 3cyl ever be nice? hahahahahaha

This is a real car to buy if you want something small and "nice".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shelby_GLHS

I have something that gets better mileage, and it will pull a low 12 sec quarter mile. haha
Don't see the fun in a Metro unless you are going to make it respectably fast just to mess with people. lol

A scooter will do that.. Less money and less to fix.
What's your point?
If all you can afford is a beater Geo, I say go for it. I just personally don't see the point in more insurance, more vehicles to upkeep when it's not something fun to begin with. It's not special looking, it's not cool, it's not even quick.
The only thing Geo Metros are know for is sucking.
Sorry if I sound like an ***. I can see it's coming out that way. lol
Not my intention. But, if you like driving it because it's funny, I can respect that. I have pretty good humor.

I would love to own one, and stick an SR20DET in there just to really mess with people, and make it RWD.

The factory G10 3 cyl is not just small, but gutless even for it's size.
My smaller motorcycle engine has been running strong for 28 years, makes more hp, and torque.

That car with the factory rated 48hp engine would be scary to me on the street and on the highway.

If you can find one with the turbo, that was a real monster.
73hp@4500 rpm and 115lbs/ft@3500 rpm
Woot!

Scooters don't have a/c on 110 degree summer days.... nor do they do good in a blizzard, or massive rain storm. I'd be laughing at you riding your scooter while I'm fine in the Geo.

It's a clown car, but a scooter is only practical on nice days. My nice days "mobile" is my Z.

The GLH was a badass car.
Been in a few Shelby cars in my life, and that was my favorite.

Meh.. I live in a desert where 120 degrees in the shade is "normal".
A/C is a luxury I would rather make up for with speed and style.
I have ridden in temps below 10 degrees too. Rain is no problem with the right gear. I rode for a long time with no car whatsoever. No big deal.

But, if I want to be in a cage, I got the Z..

We all agree they are worth owning.

I would not just own a Metro for practical reasons, unless it was all I could afford. They don't have a place in my heart.

As I said.. This is my opinion. Opinions are like butt holes. Some stink. Some of mine do.
But there is no argument.
Geo's are a slow ugly car that is world renown for not being cool.
If I want practicality, I would own a Civic.
If I want mileage I would own a Prius.
If I want to get around in the snow, I would get a snow plow. lol

But I still can't fit the Geo in there..

I would own one to be funny.
It just has no qualities I find worth it.
And it is not a car that I can see recommending to anyone.

People who have never owned (or had a friend who owned) a Geo simply don't understand. I miss my Tracker, even when I'm sitting in my SUV's heated leather seats.

No... A Tracker is something I can own and appreciate. I prefer the Samurai though.

If I wanted a car loan I would by a BMW M5. I bought my Geo for $200.
