I was cruising home yesterday from around a 350 mile road trip when I came across a guy in probably a late 90's version (are all gt's turbo?). I passed him doing about 80. I guess he was feeling feisty. By the time I got to my exit 35 miles away, we'd been cruising at 100 - 110. We also had a guy in a Q45 hanging back a little ways. I wished I'd come across this guy back on some of the side roads I was on so that I coulda got my tires a little hotter.

My dream car is just a basic, everyday, brand new vette.

The car that I'm talking about was just released this year. 600+HP monster. I'm having a hard time thinking of any other Porsche's that were ever called GT. I believe the Carrera GT is the 1st. For awhile, there was the 911T (Targa). The 911 S, the SC, the Carrera, the turbo. Carrera 2 and Carrera 4. The RS (Renn Sport). The Carrera S, 4S and the Turbo S. No GT though. I've probably left off a couple though.

did the car you come across have the 'pop-up' wing in the back, or was it a fixed wing?

Those things are beautiful. That would be the car I would get if I ever got rid of the Z. Of course I'd have to be makeing significantly more $ and have our house paid off. So, in all reality....it ain't gonna happen.

OK, I take that back. I'll have the house paid off eventually. I'll probably be in my 50's, but it'll be paid off. I plan on having my midlife crisis well before then. It's a pipe dream. I'd probably never even consider paying that much for a car. It's really pretty foolish.

B-I think Wrecker found a new job for you. If someone comes near his car all you have to beat them with a crutch.

hahahah...job is yours B if you don't mind riding in the trunk

Also whats going on with all these highlighted words that lead to those annoying websites... if the forum needs some money just create a paypall account so people can donate here and there... if half the members donated 3-4 dollars it would be like $12k...does Zdriver need some money???
