1st Gen RX-7

My brother bought a 2nd Gen turbo2 engine awhile back and then purchased a 1st Gen body for only 500$. He then bought a turbo that the inlet/outlet is big enough to fist lol. We then have recently taken down to Corksport to get the turbo2 engine put in the chassis, but first the engine was sent to Pineapple Racing to get the turbo put on and tuned and what not. It is now back at Corksport getting the custom intercooler job and should be back up here the 27th . It is estimated it will be putting down 450 rwhp in a 1,900 lb. car. When it gets herre I will keep you guys updated. What kind of 1/4 do you think this will throw down after tuning everything. Corksport estimates in the low 10's to high 9's...

Low 10's sounds very plausable. That's a lot of muscle moving a feather.

No kidding that's a lot of HP on a little car. Be careful revving that thing up. Too much and the torque might flip it onto it's roof. I'm guessing that thing is going to be scary. It's gonna want to fly, literally.

This would be one of those situations where body kits really become something to choose carefully. Looks become a secondary priority to keeping that car down.
