favorite car other than a Z?

That old impulse was cool. It had a Giugario designed body (Same guy that did the 2nd gen Scirrocco body). I remember the dash board and guages were like a fighter plane. I had an 87 16V Scirrocco Wolfsburg edition back in the day that was pretty hot. Had a Nuespeed throttle body and all kinds of crap. Back in the late 80's, the "Tuner" scene was all about the water cooled VW's. That Scirrocco was way quick and handled great for an FWD car. A buddy of mine got a Conquest TSi and roasted me though...

Actually, this last floating hell was less floating and less hell than the last floating hell. That is good, cause otherwise I probably would either be dead or in prison. Yeah, I love those Astin Martins, but I have a soft spot in my heart for the 2001 996. I think it is the best Porsche (other than the Carerra GT) since we rolled over into the 21st century. My father has the 2002 and man is that thing a monster. I only got to drive it once and I almost soiled my drawers. I have never been in a car that holds the road like that.

What do you mean, other than the Z car. There IS NO OTHER CAR
But I guess if I had to choose one it would either be the Ford Aspire or one of these:
Mercedes McLaren SLR
Bugatti Veyron
Porche Carrera GT
Chrysler ME (if it ever hits production)
If it's reality we're talking about here then:
RX7 (FD)
Lotus Elise
S351 Saleen Mustang
69 Boss Mustang (either or, I dont care 302 or 429)
Ah crap this list goes on foreever man

Ugh, the Veyron? Yeah, it is the most powerful and fastest production car out there, but it is ugly as sin. Plus, it costs over a mil. Also, I have seen a few Elises here in San Diego, they don't look that great in person. But, they are fast as hell.

Favorite car other than a Z?...What is that?
1971 Plymouth Barracuda, Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger, some other oldschool dodge muscle cars, 69 mustang fastback, 67 shelby cobra (I'm going to buy a kit car), definitely a skyline, and........a Trans Am WS6, also my dad's 92 Dodge D150. that sumbitch will roach the tires for a block and a half and all that it has done to it is the glasspack I put on there for fathers day.

Well, I like all of your guys ideas. But I'm gonna have to go with an bmw m5. maybe an audi tt roadster cause i'm a broke college student so i'll stick cheap. and who would want one of those ferraris when you could build something better yourself? don't get me wrong i love ferraris and all italian ponies, but i still think i'd more enjoy something i built myself for 9 million bucks...

favorite cars
last pricing i saw on streetlegal mcclaren was 3.5million$--out of my league, but oh,so fine! Aston martin lagonda--cant beat the style or gas mileage--8-11! i thought i would never enjoy a z31--poo-poo'd the idea of owning one--traded a small boat for a na 1986--and the affair begins--i get a lot of attention in my 84 50AE turbo-top off or on (not mine--the car's!!)-with or without male seat cover!
i own pre-197 detroit iron--2 trucks, chevy, OLD

Iso Grifo 7 litre is my fave but I prefer sleepers like a 84 maxima turbo or a turbo cressida.
Hard to not like a sports car with a 7 liter engine.
Anyone ever heard of a monte carlo turbo?
If you see an old early 80s monte with a offset scoop, you have found one of the rarest cars GM ever produced. Rarer still are the olds, and pontiac versions of the same body and the even rarer big bodied turbo car of the same vintage........I think it was an olds 98.
The regal turbo was the one that got all the attention and the sales but every division made their own version of the early turbo 3.8 powered car.

I think rice rockets are the coolest... I mean, who doesn't like the pure adrenaline rush of firing on all 4 cylinders and sounding like a weedeater? And the coolest part, is attaching an airplane wing, so you can get 12ounces of downforce trying to get up to 65mph on the freeway.
