93' 240SX and other cars
So I'm looking for a winter/daily. The van I'm driving I'm beginning to question the reliability of it plus it looks horrible. I've still got some time left so I've been driving my Z31 before it goes into the garage for the winter.
Went and looked at a 93' 240SX today. Guy has it listed for $2000, but I can tell he's open to offers. I drove it on the freeway, drove decent. Slow as hell at least in comparison to my Z31. 131000 miles on the SX. The front bumper is faded, passenger rockers have rust, bubbling up on trunk lid, bubbling up and down outside A-pillar. Strut towers look rusty. Cracked dash, idles at like 1000 or a little higher, then it like stumbled then the idle rose to 1500 then after a while went back down to 1000-ish. Exhaust is a little loud. I'm not even sure if it's even worth it.
I'm going to go look at a 1995 Infiniti G20 shortly. The guy claims to have kept it in very good shape. Sounds like it's owned by an older mechanic. I don't have to get anything special, but I would like something that's reliable. I was also thinking of maybe looking for an old used Lexus GS300. That would have the 2JZ. Any other car recommendations? I love me Rear Wheel drive, but no big deal. Maybe I'll just get a civc?

the SX is a kick *** car. i loved mine. however i got mine for 1k in VERY similar condition to that one except the interior was perfect and it ran PERFECT. was lots of fun in the winter to but like all RWD cars can get fussy to start it moving... i'd own one again. g20's are very boring and girly. decent daily i guess though....
