Cyl head part numbers

In case this isn't old news, in a fit of insanity I got myself onto the SCCA Prepared Advisory Committee where we try to define the rules for the Prepared classes. That doesn't mean we make the rules, it means we make a recommendation to the Solo Events Board and they can approve it/change it/reject it.

One of my pet peeves was the widely accepted but undocumented allowance that an FP Z can run any production head we want. Before somebody files a protest I want to get it changed. That means I need to identify the Nissan part numbers for all of the different heads. We all know them as E31, E88, N42, N47, P81, P79 & P90. Does anyone know the actual part numbers? I assume they are something like 11041-E31 and I'm to lazy to call my local dealer and bug them for this info. Also if anyone knows the heads used on the 300ZX I could try and get that added as well.

Thanks for any help,

Tom

Tom,
I will see if Carl Beck has a list of head and part numbers .

I use to be able to look them all up on the Nissan " Fast " parts
system, but mine would only run on Win 95 . A little out dated .

Mike
