Where I've been lately

Not that anyone cares , but I haven't been on Zdriver for a while, and just wanted to say why. I've been working 50+ hours a week since June, and have been trying to save every penny. Mid November came around, and I decided to take the money I was saving and bought myself a streetbike. She's a 2008 Suzuki GSX-R600...and I'm madly in love.

I'm new to riding, but I took the MSF course to get my license. I'm riding with a good group of guys who are just giving me pointers and teaching me to ride my bike to it's fullest potential while being safe.

So, that's about it. I've put just short of 2000 miles on her in about a month.

Here's some pics for your enjoyment.

There's a ton more, but I figure you guys and gals get the drift.

i love me some good bikes and thats a good color scheme but.... a gixxer??? you could have done better. :P haha... also hope they are a good bunch that put you towards the front so they keep up wth you as you progress and dont leave you to play catchup. rmember... dont ride with anyone that makes you feel uncomfortable, especially those that draw alot of attention, aka lane splitting and stunting on populate roads

Nah, none of the guys I currently ride with stunt, and we lane split, but as long as I'm comfortable with it (I lane split on my own).

As for getting the gixxer, I'm a short guy and it's the only bike I could ride without lowering it. I'm 5'4", and I touch with my toes. Any other brand and I can't touch at all. I'm not one of those manical gixxer fanboys, but I do have a special place in my heart for mine. Suzuki makes a damn fine bike if I do say so myself.

Doesn't quite fit in the ela-ela-elevator.
