no im impartial to the 350. and if i don't like it, i can always sell. and the FD i thought about, but it is a rotary turbo. so gas mileage will absolutely blow and they are very sensative engines. one time overheating usually results in blowing the apex seals. and one with low miles will be close to evo costs, which at that point i'd buy the evo lol.

no sarcasm. Honda S2000 isn't a bad car... its nice having a late model car as your daily driver.
The torque and low rpm responsiveness of the 350Z is hard to beat. Its really fun to drive even slowly around town. No revv-up required. I think you should try one, unless you really just hate how they look.

I drove an s2k rental car for a couple weeks and it was a decent little car for DD status, but for doing anything other then screwing around, you REALLY have to be up in the RPM range to actually do anything.

lol. i'd just turbo the F20 motor if that were the case. idk why but F series motors like boost.
also, tim, how DARE you say driving an S2K costs me my ***** when you can't finish a turbo swap or properly build an L motor! you sir fail at being man in any way haha.

gremlins are something that pops up typically electrically, and not with something you tampered with. like, oh man some random short showed up and i keep blowing fuses.
not, oh i rebuilt my motor, didn't watch the oil pressure and allowed my head gasket to blow. in all honesty, if you didn't have oil pressure, the engine might have overheated and warped your head. oil is number 1 engine cooling device FYI. even more so than the water plumbing in it. but there is also a good chance that you will spin a bearing down the road if you ran with no oil pressure.
and i think im pretty set on the s2k, or even a 350Z for trade. tho looks wise the s2k appeals to me, its like a sexy miata haha, with a bit more hp. basically great to toss around and feel comfy in.

I did a really quick autotrader search around here. Used 350Z's and S2000s with roughly 40k miles on up...
S2000 costs more. $11,000 to $16,000
The 350Z can be had for $8,000 to $13,000
Strangely, the 350Z cost more new. I wonder if its the gas millage advantage of the Honda

idk, well, it is also HIGHLY dependent on which year s2000. the 2004 and up are much more expensive than the 2000-2003, just for .2 liters more displacement. and i havent seen any 350z's in my area for a good price
just checked out a 2001 silver s2k with 48000 miles on it, for 9k. i like it, needs a new rear lower control arm tho, dude slid into a curb on a rainy day and its toed in like 8 degrees if i had to guess. but adjustable lower control arms are huge on the s2k's i guess. so meh!

and some dude keeps emailing me wanting to buy my bike. he goes "hey dude really like the bike, i just got out of county so my funds are a little tight, i got 1300 and a 89 conversion van" i go noooo thats ok i got a vehicle and need money, much more. he responds "dude but this van got me n my cousin so much *****, i'll even throw in nude pics of my ex-wife" im like, LMAO dude that's hysterical but i really cant take anything but cash offers.. he goes "naw naw i get it, but let me try one last time, i got a bunch of weed, im selling that and i'll have 2200 dollars, plus the 89 pussyvan and pics of my ex-wife and her chubby sister."
this dude is kinda scaring me a lil, but it its sooooo funny at the same time.

lol, deal is basically sealed, just need a new lower toe control arm and the guys friends has one for him but he didn't get it from him today like he promised... so no point in picking if up to go back out there....
