and the verdicts in about my car.....

it was the ECU.... stupid ECU. from now on i think im going to remove the ECU from the car at nights or something. lol. 3 plugs one bolt = 2 minutes

anywho, i still changed the dizzy got the proper oil pump shaft so im pretty damn happy about that, and with the new ECU theres no more bogs/millisecond stalls at idle. it runs smooth.... now i cn get onto bigger things with this car. me equals yup, im that guy

Go figure...

I guess it's a good thing you didn't take the advice of everyone here.

ummm... actually, IM the one that said its either the ECU or the dizzy know what everyone else said, the ECU's are practically indestructable, blah blah blah, wrecked drove from idaho all the way to utah so i doubt its teh ecu. not one person on here said it was the ecu.

Are you 100% sure about that?

I'm not.

its been running great for 4 days straight now lol. its a record!

i also put in my electric fan finally and am going to be getting my exhaust soon hopefully get my intercooler plumbed because right now its just sitting infront of the radiator doin nothing, might install my new intake mani but i kinda wanna powder coat it, and i really want to put in my pallnet fuel rail but i dont have 11mm O-ring style injectors i can use with the stock computer on this car nor do i know of any that match that description lol, si it might have to chill till i get MS.

also, to be fair, the CAS pigtail had one frayed/bar wire right where it was held to the dizzy with the metal bracket (it was the blue wire) so it could have been grounding out a little/periodically i guess, but i fixed that and it still had the issue with the first ECU so idk if it was really doin anything detramental to the cars performance.

yes N42 thats gorgous clean and been ported already and many of the uneccessary holes plugged up. i still feel i paid 40 dollars to much though.

edit: also, the ECU LED is suposed to be on at all times during operation right? cause mine was up till today, the car stalled on my in the garage at idle but immediatly started back up and was running but i was in a rush to flight and didnt have time to wait for it however i did notice the ECU LED was off till i turned it to start again and when she fired up the LED turned off again but the car stayed running, it was random, but ive been driving the car everyday since friday so this would be wierd if sometihng happened.
