TOF...sup man, if you want to take a turbo apart...first seek out how they work and why....then find yourself a used turbo at a junk yard or wherever and bring it home. Look at it for a bit and see how it's put together, grab some tools and sit down with the turbo...dismantle it without breaking anything and then put it back together...do this a few times if you can to get familiar with how to do it.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to learn how to do things, I do it all the time...I fail alot but I also learn alot and I learn how to fix things in the process. Whatever you do, don't try to learn on the car you are driving, if you break it you are in a bad spot...if you want to learn, teach yourself on things that wont break your car...once you are able to fix it then you wont be as nervous about working on your car and you may just be able to teach someone else how to fix their problem...the key is to gain knowledge without putting yourself in a bad way.

Also, one last thing...if you want a fast car to drive...enroll in driving school that teaches you how to race...there is no place on the streets for it so there really is no need to build your car up to do so...it can only cause problems for you and I am saying this as your friend, be safe and keep fast cars where the belong, on the track....and I'm out!!

i have to i can't register or get insurance due to the fact that there is no legal owner to the zx at this point and time in it's life. a cop told me so after he pulled me over and so did the other cop they both let me go one was Hispanic and the other was my bosses older brother i got way lucky

#1... I am asking what he meant because I can't find anything about Crane Cams "camshafts" in the BDA catalog, just several Crane Cams ignition boxes & coils.

#2... Proper / performance ignition has quite a bit to do w/ adding power. No spark = no power. Was that a simple enough equation for you?

 

i know that but ignition alone cannot create power if i upped my ignition the best i could do is unlock more power if that but not create 10% more
