Thats sucks man.

The deer are thick around here. I never drive around in rural areas after 6 pm or so, this seems to be when they all come out.

Ouch, that sucks. Glad to hear your fine and the damage isn't too bad. There are never deer in my area (So Cal) but I've heard stories of them doing some damage.

Wow, not bad at all. Definitely looks like you got lucky.

Sucks about the rack, someone must've swooped quick! Would've made a great conversation piece and personal memento from the incident.

no its really not that much the headlight bracket just broke the plastic clips i need to get some more the fender sits a little out of shape hard to see its so small and my hood actually sits a hair lower on the left side and i have clearence issues if you look at the gaps under the headlight buckets

acually it looks like the bumper is pushed in and slightly down, it would explain why it makes everything look so far off

Agreed about the bumper and I think I have another driver side headlight bucket lying around here if you want it. It's silver...

Found it! I'll post some pictures up here once my camera finishes downloading all the photos from this weekend (3,000!!!).

How about you just pay the shipping from 80304? I got hooked up with some carpet from someone on here a while ago so I've got to return the Zdriver favor. I'm gonna have to find a box... I'm sure there's something around here

I'm not sure what metal bracket you're talking about. I think mine just bolted to the fender

I remember when i hit a deer last year. My wife was in the car, so natrauly i verd for the deer to hit the driver side. it hit hard, but thankfully went under the car. under both back tires. and had the kindness to clean my gas tank for me. all in all. my 83 2+2 only took a broken blinker lens cover. thank god for bumper shocks.

he means the headlight mount itself, thats why his headlight is pushed back.

Probably similiar in Illinois, I was cruising out in the country in the 350 the other day and there was a deer just standing there in the oncoming lane. I coulda reached out and touched him.....he was that close. Luckily, he just froze there and didn't move towards me.
