short stay in the hospital

well i made a gross error yesterday at work. i was operating a lrge deisel forklift in a large tent, one end open. well after a hour and a half, i was kinda dizzy, and had a headache. the guys at work told me no biggie, just keep breathing fresh air and ittl go away. well not that easy, endded up in the hospital. got blood drawn and 4 hours after i got outta the tent, my blood CO level was at the highest a human should have!! it prolly woulda went away naturally, but they put me on oxygen for 2 hours then released me. im good now, but for any of those doing or maybe not thinking when working, dont do it. the headache sucks. appearantly it can really screw you up. well thats my story, had to share. later.

Yikes man... there was a blurp on the news last night that CO poisoning kills hundreds each year. Indeed it's a good thing you're still alive!

Wow man, you got to be careful with that stuff. That gas can get trapped in a building or structure like that. Glad to hear you are allright. That would scare me. I guess you could call it a learning experience.
