S30 to S130

well guys, im selling my 77 S-30 and getting back my 79 S130 2+2. the zx was my first car, and i just have an aquired taste for the 2+2. i want a nice riding, comfortable car that is sporty with more room than the coupe, it can be made into quite a sleeper, without being loud and disturbing. me and my wife are going to be starting a family when she gets back from korea, so i gata settle down on the racing, and just have a nice daily driver. i might still put a nice exaust system on it, new shocks and springs, rims and tires, make it just a nice driving car.

I agree with Shady, as long as you have a Z, its all good. What generation doesn't matter....

I always hated the Z31's.. but after looking at them for a while, it seems to grow on you. A nice CLEAN Z31 with a little dress-up can be a nice car. It won't be much of a car to pickup a lady in, but you could attract some car-enthusiest old men... haha

I'd go for a 1987-89 Z31 myself with a few mods.

anyway, welcome back to the 2+2 280ZX club

The 87-89 with the bit more rounded flares, bumper, etc made the cars look real nice. I'm glad to see the love for the 2+2 on the rise.

I think Z31's can look pretty nice with a little bit of mods. This one looks like stuff I saw back in Japan.

That's in my opinion the coolest Z31 I've seen. I remember there was a thread on that a while back or something.

use the ZG flares to cover up those 1984/85 factory flares. good idea!

then again with the late Z31 front end
