Why won't it let me post threads in other forums?

 

its because of your post count

 

So I need a higher count to post threads in other parts of the forum?...

just spend some time in the post ***** thread, enjoy some lolzcats

 

That just seems ridiculous. But ok.

Huh. Thats weird. Are you sure? I never posted in the off-topic area, and I'm pretty new. I saw a thread I liked, registered the name, and off I went posting away. in the 280ZX area, after getting my new car. Just post a bunch of random crap until 10 posts I guess and see what happens.

I am having this problem. And I have posted in the Z32 thread before. Is this a new policy?

Spam prevention... first 10 posts of new users are monitored. If you post certain specified keywords (like "****" "free" "cell phones" "deal") or post any kind of html, your post is monitored. If you have used more than one or two of those keywords, your post is rejected completely.

I guess I need to send that in a bold message to new users so that spammers know how to get around it too.
