Look up "playa del coco." That's an awesome area to have a boat.
ok guys im having a problem with the 300zx the car wont turn on sometimes like the battery isn't touching the cables but they are im not sure if it's my battery or wires im thinking wires but i want your guys opinions
if it turns over with full strength when it does "turn on", then the battery is fine. if it turns over slowly and weakly, the battery is bad or not being charged. take the cables off, clean them with electric contact cleaner, and put them back on tightly
oh my dad told me to clean it with coke a cola then put the red and green felt rings on the bottom and anti-corrosion lube on them so i just have to get to it but anyone heard of using coke? im kinda skeptical but if they have a specific cleaner for it then i'll do that. but it turns full strength so wires they are really corroded.
it is likely the wires. coke is going to make everything sticky. use tonic water if you have to use a soda. but electric contact cleaner is best. now, when it doesn't "turn on", do you just mean it won't start, or that you are getting no power from the battery at all? (such as interior lights, other lights, and stuff)

coca cola is great to clean things with--willtake the rust of a rusty nail in no time flat.....yes,clean the battery terminals...then also get in there an fiddle with the wires and connectors--are they intact, loose, falling off, not connected--you can find out easily by messing with it---when i got my ae, the battery terminal connectors were failing--pretty and ricey as hell, but failing--had to replace them with standard stock connections----maybe that is youur problem??????
the usual cleaner is baking soda........
