TOF, honestly do you think i let any of my cars/motorcycles sit for more then a week? and with you doing maintenance on it, its sure to die. (like the adjusting clutch thing i kept telling you to do) :P i have a driver for my motorcycle while im gone and my mother is looking for a second car to drive around to work and back.

you failed to adjust the clutch, so you wore out the first and probably second synchro in the tranny so that it didnt grind. that is neglect my friend...
