I was wondering if there are any Z meets for the Greater NW. I know there are several people here from Oregon and Washington. I know there are some other Z owners in Idaho. (With Much nicer Z`s than mine.) So are there any NW Z meets or should I start organizing one?

plenty of Z and Nissan/Datsun events around here. Bleach has a bunch listed on his site.

 

Big differnce between Renton and Boise. I think I`ll try to make Canadia though.

 

its a great cruise too, lots of nice ppl. good talking about anything with them, hopefully everyone can learn or teach as well. were looking for a date in june/july if anyone has ideas so i can start advertising on the other sites, and tell my local buddies as well.

 

theres a local club arround here, havent been able to pin em down but i also havent been to the autocross track in a while.

its fun to watch vipers break axles, way to much car for out little track.

 

NORTHWEST NISSAN MEET MARCH 30TH, 2008

It is that time of year again, GOLDEN GARDENS SEATTLE, WA

this years Northwest Nissans Golden Garden meet will start at noon on March 30th, 2008 at Golden Gardens park. Mark the date on your calendar and tell your friends!

If you were in the Seattle area we could organize some more smaller meets. Idaho is way out there.

Right now most of the meets are in the Portland area. Golden Gardens is all Nissan and way overcrowded.

I still think we could use a Seattle area show closer to the summer.

 

I agree. Just a Z show or meet would be nice. I'm in Tacoma and there's nothing going on here.

 

id come down to that, i really want to meet some more of the washington group. bleach you could make it a z/truck/510 meet. would be pretty sweet.

 

very true. We'll get a good show going if we include 510's and other classic Datsuns. As long as we keep the majority of the S13 and 350Z crowd away it should remain a good show.

 

would S12's be allowed? there 300zx ish if they came with the v6

 

I kinda like the 87-88 200SX V6 cars. I've sold some 300ZX parts to a few of those guys to convert to vented rear brakes rotors.

 

you could say it has to say datsun somewhere on it. like on the 300's. the very early ones said "datsun by nissan" on the back!!

 

I was not thinking of literally telling the newer Nissans they can't join, but it certainly could be advertised as a Datsun show (all Nissans welcome)
We could make something to rival the Canby Oregon show. I think I could market it better than Canby as long as I can find a good location. I've already got some local 510, truck, and Z guys interested but nobody is willing to plan anything. I guess its up to me.

 

I would so come to Seattle for that. Let me know.

 

bleach once you find a date for the show, let me know, that way i can plan the shady meet around it so they are not back to back, unless ppl want to do rolling car shows 2 at a time. that way if they drive from utah or cali (cough cough) they can do both shows.

 

With all the others shows and summer events, I had planned to have the meet late in May each year. May 18th 2008 tentatively.
It would start out small and simple this year.

The only reason to go there is the show. Its huge. You should check it out.
