Now I'm cool like Bleach...

One S30, one Z33.......and one S130!

Bought ZStreet86's '83 280ZXT.

I wasn't crazy about buying another old Z sight unseen....but he went the extra yard and sent me like 60 pics....and a video. I think its a pretty good deal.

Heres a pic:

Nah, I'm just going to have it delivered. I got a real fair rate, only bad thing is it'll be a week or two before I have the car.

Oh man this thing is FUN!

Because of the weather, today was the first chance I had to see what she can do. I admit I was having some second thoughts because I definitely prefer the S30 body style.....but this little sucker has won me over!! That engine pulls like a V-8 and makes all kind of cool noises and whistles. And the handling is better than I thought too. I'm impressed!

Here are a few pics I took:

I like chicks in red sports cars!

Anyway, I only have a 2 1/2 car garage so I'm keeping the 280 in a storage unit a couple miles from here. Its inconvenient though and costing me $75/month. I also bought a cover for it so I'm thinking about just keeping it here in the driveway with the cover. But IL winters can be pretty harsh....but as long as its not exposed to road salt, there won't be any rust issues? Opinions anyone?

It IS possible to get all three cars in the garage....if the weather really got bad.....but its a pretty tight squeeze:

put the S30 at the back of the garage turned sideways. Looks like there is a lot of room behind your cars.

Congrats on the new addition, Mike! She looks pretty solid.

I was just thinking the same thing as Bleachie when I saw the pic. of your garage. Hey, if you can’t park her in there sideways, you can buy some wheel dollies for about the same price as one month’s storage rental, and just push her in there manually. I recently saw a set of four for $109 – can’t recall where though at the moment.

Hey Barbie, welcome back!!

I was able to get all the cars in the garage that way.....but the dollies still might not be a bad idea. As anyone who's owned a 240Z knows, low speed manueverability is not a strong point! Anyway heres a pic (look its 50 degrees here and I already have the T-tops off!).

Thank you, Mike! It's awesome that you got them all in the garage together. Now you can admire their beauty without having to leave the house, and not have to pay rental fees either.

Thats right Barbie! And it bugs me that its sitting in that, cold, storage area by itself. You know cars get lonely too!

Dude keep your 350. I just bought mine back from the guy I sold it to. That 280 is nice. How many miles are on it?

About 100,800. Yeah I'll probably hold on to the 350 for awhile. Glad to see you got yours back.
