Nissan newb
Hello everyone! My name is Travis, i'm 23, and i live in Michigan. I've owned 14 cars and this is my first Nissan and Japanese car i've owned. I traded a 1987 VW Scirocco 16v with a Weber DCOE45 carb setup and bunch of other work for the Z31.
This is the Z31.
Car is fairly clean and only has 72,000 original miles. It needs some work like suspension and wheels. It's on cut springs and 17s with horrible offset.
I'm hoping to find some great information and ideas on this forum!

Welcome to ZDriver!
That little Scirocco looks like a serious mover! So you're now in Z-land. Looks like an '86 to me - but you can tell us year/tranny/turbo or not.
You have some work ahead of you. All the basic maintenance the previous owner didn't do you get to catch up on. May take a while but the guys here can help you. Be sure to DL a freebie factory service manual at XenonZ31 Reference along with the other cool docs. The FSM is full of inspection and troubleshooting pages which are easy to follow. The fiches help you locate OEM parts numbers which the aftermarket parts people like to know when you show up looking for a part.
Maybe when the snow clears there you can post some photos of your new Z31. So let us know how she's running for you these days and what you would like to do. Guys here are happy to help.
Welcome and thanks!
