My Duc hates me....

My Duc hates me....
This morning it left me stranded for the third time in five months. I was on the interstate on my way to the pet store to help the shelter with an adoption....and suddenly NO POWER. Coasted to the side of the road and the bike would crank like it wanted to start but wouldn't turn over.
The same exact thing happened two other times. Once back in May two blocks from my house and again last month in Perre Marquette national park down by St.Louis (my brother had to drive 140 miles with his trailer to pick me up). The first time the d'ship said it was a fuel hose.....the second time they said it was a fuel filter. I personally think it's electrical (the bike had a recall for a regulator back in February and hasn't been the same since...).
All I know is I'm through with this bike. Might get an MV Agusta F4....or just give up bikes all together and concentrate on the Zs......

I think they're in-line 4? Yeah I almost bought one last month....IMO the only bike that can compare to the Duc looks-wise. But then again they're Italian....so not sure about the reliability.

My previous bike was an '04 R1 and I had zero problems in over 3 years of ownership. But the Duc was totally reliable the first 1 1/2 years I had it too....until I took it in for a voltage regulator recall last February and it hasn't been the same since. I don't blame Ducati....I blame the dealership, they obviously screwed up something.

seems like ALOT of people have recuring problems with ducs after going into the dealership. everything is going fine till the one problem it does have or one time it needs something done then after that it seems to be a frequent thing i noticed.... so i DO blame ducati... that or every tech in the USA duc squadron is a complete retard....

It's been to the tracks, it's been through ice, snow, hail, monsoons, extremely high winds, rain, thunder storms, sand storms, city traffic. All sorts of crap. theirs a couple mountains by here that have some damn good roads.

Once again the stealership said the problem is a fuel hose came loose!
Heres a quick chronological review:
8/07- 1/09 Bike has ZERO problems
2/09 Bike is recalled for a voltage regulator.
5/09 Bike stalls. D'ship says its fuel hose.
9/09 Bike stalls. D'ship says its a clogged fuel filter.
10/09 Bike stalls. D'ship says its a fuel hose.
Am I losing my freakin mind here????!!!!!

I've told them I thought it was electrical and I've only had problems since the recall.....and it goes in one ear and out the other. I'm getting ready to take it to another mechanic to get a second opinion.
