But really... because California is a MUCH better place to have a parts supply company.

Because there are far more Z-cars (old and new) on the West Coast than the East Coast...

Hold on... are you trying to say that a company should be close to their customers? Whoa.... that totally just blew my mind!

Actually every year (?) they've tried to group the Z's by model, and allow "clubs" to park together. This year, it's implied that they will organize by models ..

If MSA is successful in organizing by models .. it should (?) make competition judging interesting.

Bump...

I'm gettin giddy! One month till MSA! I got my Z mostly ready yesterday... had to put the cat back in, install door handles... got the stock headlights back in. Now I need to get it inspected & take it for a small road trip to make sure she can handle a long distance cruise.

Hehe, I'm getting excited too. I'm goin' all out this year. My Z just got back from the body shop from some further custom bodywork. Today I just finished a boost controller install. And this week, I take it in for a clutch, flywheel, LSD, and intercooler install (all thanks to a lot of overtime, tax refund, and lack of a gf). She'll be a whole new car! ^_^ Now I'm just praying everything'll work together ok.

The boost leaks are fixed. I've got to replace the intake/exhaust gasket and I've been doing a little custom work. That is not going well. Fiberglass is not setting up right. I did this before and it was perfect on my truck.
I've just got a lot to do before the trip. On top of that, other people keep having crisis in their lives and it somehow always affects me and takes my time away...

what kind of temoeratures are you curing the glass at bleach, i take it you know that stuff. also being that winter just passed, the stock of resin you have could have been frozen. not by you, but by the parts supplier. it happens, i went through 3 tins of bondo untill i had a good one once.

temps in the garage at night are in the mid to upper 40's F.
This stuff has quite a bit of fumes and I didn't want to bring it into the house.

"Turbo" like "throw on a turbo" or do you mean an actual engine swap? Either way would be pushin it to be done by MSA.

PS... Bleach, you WILL be there...

More bodywork?

Can't wait to see it... I mean... I love the way Apollo's tail lights look on your car already

Where's the turbo going to get it's oil? Where will it drain the oil? Are you going to leave the exhaust open at the downpipe?
