He's got a crappy camera idiot, but it's a nice launch. He's just got it together and getting the bugs out yet. Ran 8.60@155 MPH, not bad for a shakedown run.
Here's one of some pretty serious Pontiac guys..can ya tell I used to be a Pontiac guy too??

LOL yea, I've only heard of Butler every once in a while XD /sarcasm
but yea, I'm going to withold any comments I have for the car until I find out whether or not it's Pontiac powered, because if it's not, just build a damn Camaro <_<
What's funny is that I have a '69 Firebird myself lol (mainly a street car, best ET to date is a 13.03@105, but with the new motor and a new convertor [the motor is almost the same specs as the current one] I'm hoping to be in the mid-low 12's with her )
My dad also has a few Pontiac's, his racecar being a '65 GTO with a 455 that's run a best of 9.36@144 down in Cali, but with the new heads he's buildin, he's hopin to break into the 8's lol
(nothin like tootin my own horn XD )

That one is a chevy.
Sounds like Daddy knows that the 65 GTO is one of the lightest. I've ACTUALLY SEEN a 62 Catalina, with plastic fenderwells, side windows, aluminum fenders, cheese grater frame, 421 4 speed, and tri power. Weighed in at 2900 according to the owner.
A friend with a new 426 Hemi Plymouth and a bunch of money in the engine was amused when some fool in a 62 Catalina challenged him. He takes off, looks in the rearview, nobody there, the Pontiac is in his door. He was amazed.
Just out of high school a buddy had his newer chevy all hopped up, and challenged me, in my stock 147k mile, single exhaust Bonneville 4dr hardtop. I got him by 3 lengths, and stopped for the light 5 blocks later. That was 35 yrs ago, and I never let him forget it.
My first pontiac had a glowing drunk indian on the hood... Was a straight 8 too!
Edit: just for grins and giggles, my first Buick was the exact same car(color, trim and all) as the father of, and originator of what is now Kenne-Bell. Seems we both figured out that while dynaflows had their problems, when they worked, they worked good... For you youngsters, a dynaflow was buicks version of the powerglide.

lmao, more like he bought the car for th price of a tow bill, and street raced it until one of his friends was putting in a pair of tubs and caught the whole back of the interior on fire, and then it became a racecar :P
