Sheesh... Mythbusters is apparently full of crap. They did a show on exactly this... and supposedly busted the myth that a car can be blown over behind a jet.

Mythbusters did it with the front of the car facing the thrust didn't they?

Either way, that was cool to watch...gotta love BBC Top Gear.

Mythbusters did the test with some weak little private jet engines, when the myth was exactly like what Top Gear did...A Taxi went behind a 747 taking off on a byroad and was blown off...pretty much like the Mondeo.

I love Mythbusters, but sometimes they are real morons

They didn't bust it. They called it plausible it. They couldn't duplicate it, but at the end of the segment they showed some videos of it happening. They said they'd have to call it confirmed even though they couldn't do it.

it is a rectangular, 3-dimensional object that opens and has many fine, floppy things attached to the midsection(binding)holding them in place so there is order to their being ad so the message contained within the typewritten pages can be understood as long as the person seated with this object is able to read the words onthe pages(floppy things)

nice... i feel ive seen it before.... but still very impressive. i love R/C planes. i just finished my first giant scale aerobatic plane... twin cylinder 70cc motor. throws a 26 inch blade.... she pulls hard and has unlimited verticle performance. just so er' body knows if that really has 8 turbines thats the most expensive plane ever. lol... each turbine engine costs about 3 thousand dollars OUCH!!!! not teh prettiest take off but im sure it was maiden voyage and the landing was hot, but luckily they make braking systems for R/C planes of that scale if needed.
