Man, after I took the car to shady, he fixed it up reealllly nice now. I learned a little bit too, I probably should have learned more, but time was not on my side.

Anyway, all the brakes are basically brand spankin' new including the bearings etc. Put on those tires/wheels I bought off KMT. And man, it drives and looks like a brand new car. You'd have to pry my corpse off this thing to make me sell it.

Sorry for all the childish **** earlier, never again. Patience works wonders. I snapped 2 quick pics. Haven't had time to wash it yet, just a poor man's wash (Rain).

Hey figured I would be the first to comment on your thread. lol. Anyway that is a pretty clean Z, even though I don't care for 2 + 2's much. I still will respect people that own them. Also you should have put this in the 280zx section. Just a suggestion, I also like the rims bro' really sweet.

I wouldn't have a 2+2 if I planned to get it up to a racer. Just the overall utility of them is nice. I bought my fiance a desk and hauled it away in this thing without having the hatch open lol. It fits my entire drumset <.<.

Thanks, I always liked those rims, but I've heard EVERYONE has them lol.

 

Are your headlights slanted horizontally? They look like they tilt out?!?! Those "diamond cut" headlights don't line up right w/ the stock headlight backs... might want to adjust them.



PS... 2+2's rock... don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

 

Funny you should ask... we found that out the hard way. Shady had to adjust them, and straighten them as best he could with electrical tape because we didn't have duct tape LOL.

The previous owner installed them, and didn't know what he was doing. Eventually I'll have to replace them. He added angel-eyes (I think thats what mat called them) but they didn't fit in after we adjusted them. Headlights are next on my list, that and exhaust (It's really gonna need it soon).

 

yeah them lights are screwed. the actually tabs on the lights are not in the correct locations, as if they were glued together crooked. i cut the tabs off, but they will spin without any effort. but they still look better then b4, you shoulda seen them!! car looks good in the daylight tho. i seem to see it in rain and dark only, its canada, go figure. i also installed a blaster2 coil. my favorite upgrade, and another happy owner. i saw the tittle and was like "im gonna kill him" had me scared there. the whole job minus the rims, coil and braided lines was 800, parts and labour included. so 550/600 your guys money. not too shabby for a great feeling car.

The lights were arced in some weird *** diagonal.. it was horrible. I could see the tops of tree PERFECTLY though lol.

Well. Shady was telling me how he hated how people would use his good prices to turn a profit on Z cars. I told him I would never sell it.

So I decided to mess with his mind and make a title saying "I'M SELLING" to see his reaction lol =).

 

ahhh. lol.... good one, now give him a swift canukian 2 4 and sell it! lol nah, jp, its a nice Z hold on to her for at least a week longer
