I need some help and some input from anyone who lives in the Sacramento/Elk Grove area. My girlfriends birthday is coming up soon, and I need a nice place to take her to dinner, but not too expensive. I'm willing to spend about 30~50 bucks a plate, but don't want it to be one of those dinners that you spend tons of money on and they suck really bad.

 

Take her for a nice drive to San fran and go to Pier 39. You can eat out on the patio or in a restuarant. Then take anight stroll around the piers and other parts of the city. I alsways liked to cap it off with a drive downthe PCH to SANTA CRUZ and walk along the beach. The drive down PVH is beyond compare. Take her homr on the 880 to the 680 to the 5 then home. You should start early but it is so worth it. When i come out next week, I am taking my wife to Sonoma during the day, then Pier 39 for dinner and a ride on the trolly. Then the nice drive down PCH, (in a Mustang Convertible 06). We are goingto spend the night in a B&B in Montery. Then drive back to Yosemite.

I guarantee if your girlfriend likes San Fran and the beach you cannot get any better. The feelof the cool breeze, lightlyblowing off the waves as they crash quieltyand the roll up the beach and tickle your feet.

hmm, you know, that's a really good idea. I'd have to borrow my dad's Laser if I decided to. Definitely a better date than I had in mind.

 

I grew up out in the bay Area and Manteca, so i know the area well.Me and the wife are going to Napa if my dad doesnt have to have surgery. Otherwise we are going wine tasting in Fresno. ( Not as much fun)

I found out that her mom took her and her ex to SF last year for her birthday, so we're staying local this year.

Then take her skinny dipping at Folsom or oriville, then cruise over to Tahoe for a great dinner.

word of advice to all of the guys out there: be careful dating a girl whose mom is crazy enough to follow her internet history and start stalking you online.

 

Tahoe is the place to go not far from me its butiful up here. thats what i would do.

 

the way things are going now, I doubt that her mom is even going to let her out of the house, she's like condemning her to the house, she was supposed to come over today, but that's no longer happening.
